Val Dotson

Office Manager

Val Dotson has been with Boston 128 Companies since its inception. Where she first began in New Business and Group Health Insurance, she is now the office manager. In her daily roles, Val sets up and manages client accounts and assists clients with ongoing activities such as gaining online access, transfers, withdrawals, and legal changes.

Val attended SUNY Oneonta before spending three years in the Underwriting and Dividend Calculations Department at the home office of Standard Insurance in Portland, Oregon. Val relocated to Boston in 1985 where she began working for the Boston Agency of Central Life Insurance. She holds multiple LOMA certifications in business, insurance, and financial matters.

Val now resides in Londonderry, NH with her husband of 40 years and their three cats. In her free time, Val likes to garden, cook, and spend quality time with her adult children. Her son’s wife is expecting so Val will become a first-time grandmother in the very near future.
