Elizabeth “Beth” Goldsmith serves as Chief Operations Officer at Boston 128, bringing more than 14 years of experience in financial services and a career defined by strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Since joining the firm in 2026, Beth has become a trusted architect of organizational strategy, business expansion, and people development—ensuring that every initiative she touches is left stronger, clearer, and better than before.

Beth is relied upon for her ability to translate vision into structure. She leads firmwide operational strategy, program development, and business optimization with a forward‑looking, futuristic lens. Her work strengthens Boston 128’s capacity to scale intentionally while preserving the boutique, high‑touch experience that defines the firm. Whether guiding organizational change, developing talent, or shaping long‑term growth initiatives, Beth’s approach is grounded in clarity, collaboration, and a deep belief in continuous improvement.

Before joining Boston 128, Beth built a distinguished career at Ameritas, where she served as a People Development Coach and later as Second Vice President of Practice Management and Development. In these roles, she specialized in business coaching, operational optimization, and advisor development—work that continues to influence her leadership philosophy today.

Beth holds her Series 6 and ALMI designations. She earned her undergraduate degree in Education from Nebraska Wesleyan University and her MBA with a focus in Organizational Development from Concordia University. Her academic foundation in learning, leadership, and organizational behavior informs her ability to build systems that empower people and elevate performance.

A Lincoln, Nebraska local with a second home in her heart for Boston, Beth’s life is joyfully full. She and her husband—an economics professor—are the proud parents of six grown sons: Andrew, Caleb, Tim, Seth, Luke, and Joseph. Their home is rounded out by three beloved dogs: Wicket, Stanley, and Birdie. When she’s not shaping strategy or developing people, Beth can be found tending her flower garden or hunting for antiques, always drawn to things with history, character, and room to be restored.
